SPOCOM SF 2023 @ GOLDEN GATE FIELDS COVERAGE HIGHLIGHTS

This past weekend, Firm400 made its way back up north for the SPOCOM 2023 Season Opener at Golden Gate Fields in Berkeley, California. Since 2007, SPOCOM is the nation’s largest automotive consumer exhibit and show focusing on the culture surrounding young adults. SPOCOM SF is perhaps one of our favorite events during the summer show season due to its wonderful setting. The venue hosted at Golden Gate Fields overlooks The Bay and to be physically there to experience the ocean breeze while checking out some of the cleanest builds from the West Coast during SPOCOM is such a vibe.

Falken Tires headlines as title sponsor for the Spocom 2023 Tour

Falken Tires ( @falkentire ) makes their footprint as this year’s title sponsor during the SPOCOM 2023 Tour. Their activation featured some amazing builds including a Mitsubishi EVO, Honda Civic and Subaru Track Builds that we featured in our video coverage recap. Industry Exhibitors / Lifestyle Brands including California Creaming ( @calicreaming ) and Lowered Empire ( @loweredempire ) to name a few were in attendance featuring their new merch and sponsored builds for the show season.

Lowered Empire’s featured New Pink Supra was looking clean sitting pretty as we had the chance to film and feature their build in our video coverage. We also had the chance to capture some models / influencers including industry icon Big Abe ( @kuya__abe ) that made their appearance at the event as well as the wonderful SPOCOM ladies that took the time to pose for the cameras.

Our Firm400 Pop-Up featured some of the latest custom anime air fresheners from DAFSKI as well as custom art pieces designed by Musartwork and Collab Merch. TruHart Suspension ( @truhartusa ) was this year’s official suspension as well as SPOCOM’s Bikini Contest Sponsor with Host Miss Chelsea Mae ( @its.chelseamae ). Miss “Slayrizz” ( @slayrizz ) from NYC was this year’s SPOCOM SF 2023 Bikini Contest Winner.

Competing and to be featured at SPOCOM is a dream for many car builders & enthusiasts. But to receive the industry’s iconic “SPOCOM Sword” Trophy is the crème de la crème of all awards. Designed by famed automotive designer Troy Sumitomo, the SPOCOM trophy is the most prestigious award in the automotive world.
